Hallmark poultry processors Ltd. is a family-owned and operated poultry processing plant in Vancouver, BC, and is looking to hire Quality Control Technicians (Full time/permanent)

Certificate, diploma, or Certificate in food science is an asset.

**Experience**

**Work setting**

Poultry processing plant.

**Duties**
- Sampling and testing raw ingredients.
- Product testing (timely inspections, sample tests, reporting, and investigate specific material)
- Establish and maintain the company’s food safety culture; notify employees to report the issue to other departments for corrective actions and follow-up.
- HACCP and prerequisite quality checks.
- Ensuring proper food safety procedures and compliance with regulatory and customer requirements.
- Preoperational equipment inspections, housekeeping, and ensuring the effectiveness of sanitation.
- Monitoring production to ensure good food quality and GMP policy.
- Reporting and making a recommendation to the manager.
- Maintenance of lab product, package, and ingredient data as required
- Training employees as needed for quality policies and procedures.
- Testing equipment standardization, maintaining and calibrating according to schedules
- Performing miscellaneous tasks are required.
