We are a Vancouver-based cleantech equipment manufacturer, connecting teams to clean power all over the globe. PE designs, builds, rents and sells **Voltstack**®** Power Stations** - industrial grade, robust, clean energy alternatives to traditional gas and diesel generators that provide instant power whenever and wherever it’s needed. PE is actively providing clean energy to the film, events, and construction industries in Western Canada, while rapidly integrating into new markets throughout North America and around the world.
We are looking for a motivated and hard-working **Quality Control Technician **to join our team. We need passionate individuals with a good work ethic that care about working towards a common goal. You have worked in busy production environments and have an interest in clean technology and helping your team achieve ambitious goals.
**Your impact as a Quality Control Technician**:
- Perform various quality control tests for the manufacturing process to ensure consistency and quality
- Prepare testing reports for review and approval
- Ensure that complaints are investigated, resolved and closed in a timely manner
- Ensure that inspection/quality tools are maintained and periodically calibrated if needed
- Investigate quality issues and establish corrective action and non conformance reports to identify the root cause, follow up on any action items until completion
- Work with cross functional teams to assist the improvement and development of SOPs
- Support development of appropriate Key Performance Indicators (KPI), and report the monthly results to the upper management
- Maintains and enforces the company’s quality assurance programs
- Contribute to Lean and Continuous Improvement activities
- Perform soldering and rework as required
- Undertake special projects as required or other duties as assigned
**Requirements**:
- Certification or diploma as an electronic technician or equivalent practical experience
- 1-2 years experience in manufacturing, assembly, or construction environments.
- Knowledge of IPC 7711/7721/IPC-A-610
- Thorough knowledge of manufacturing documentation and schematics
- Experience in developing SOPs, work instructions and drafting technical reports
- Strong Computer Skills (Office 365 and Google Docs)
- Excellent communication, problem solving and organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize activities
- Positive attitude and enjoys working in a fast-paced environment with diverse teams
- Strong analytical and mathematical skills
- Embrace change and is interested in operational improvements
- Capable of reading engineering drawings, reviewing calculations, analyzing, specifications and codes

- Inventory control procedures
**Location**:
- This is a role working out of our Vancouver, BC office
- We are hiring for our afternoon shift (3:30pm - 12:00am Pacific Time).
