We are seeking a passionate and experienced Child Care Director to join our team at Kids3 Daycare in Lacombe. This permanent full-time position plays a vital role in managing our childcare services in accordance with 'The Child Care Act' and regulations, ensuring quality care and development for our children.
**Responsibilities**
- Oversee daily operations of the daycare center while ensuring compliance with licensing regulations.
- Manage and support a team of approximately 20-22 permanent staff members.
- Act as a liaison between staff, parents, and the community to foster positive relationships.
- Plan and implement engaging activities that promote children's developmental growth.
- Maintain accurate records of children's progress and communicate effectively with parents.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of all children in our care.
- Conduct regular assessments of children's developmental levels.
- Uphold accreditation standards and maintain daycare supplies and equipment.
- **Qualifications**:

- A minimum of two years diploma in Early Childhood Education or equivalent.
- At least three years of experience in a childcare setting, preferably as a Director.
- First Aid/CPR certification is required.
- Strong leadership skills with an emphasis on teamwork, communication, and problem-solving.
- Ability to multitask while maintaining a positive attitude under pressure.
- Criminal record check with vulnerable sector search prior to start date.
