The Back Shop Attendant plays an important role in attending to members and guests at the start and finish of their rounds. Outgoing, energetic, with exceptional interpersonal skills, they provide excellent customer service by understanding members’ preferences and paying close attention to detail. Attendants operate and maintain the Driving Range and Practice facilities in addition to assisting Pro Shop staff and management as required.

**Key Responsibilities & Duties**:

- Promptly greet members & guests before and after their round, attending to their specific needs in a friendly, professional manner.
- Handling of members’ golf clubs (set up, cleaning, and storing).
- Ability to regularly lift heavy loads up to 50 lbs.
- Maintaining and cleaning power carts, push carts, and ensuring the Back Shop area remains tidy and clean.
- Attending to the Driving Range and Practice facilities.
- Communicating with other Back Shop team members and Pro Shop staff to provide exceptional customer service.
- Ensuring department policies, service standards, and safety protocols are followed.
- Assisting the Pro Shop staff and management with other duties as required.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with mínimal supervision.

**Wage**: $18.50 per hour

**Work Hours**:

- Full-time (30 - 40 hours per week)
- Must be available for a variety of shifts, including early mornings (as early as 7:00 AM) and closing shifts.
(E.g. 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM / 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM/ 12:00 - 8:00 PM with a mix of weekdays & weekends)
- Paid bi-weekly
- Must be available for 2 days of training in late August
- Seasonal role from September until November

**Qualifications**:

- Have a positive attitude and be a team player
- Outgoing, energetic, with exceptional interpersonal skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Ability to regularly lift and carry up to 50 lbs
- A passion for the game of golf (ie. Knowledge & understanding of the game is required)
- Flexible availability required, with the ability to work shifts ranging from early mornings (starting at 7:00 AM) to closing shifts
- Enjoys working outside, come rain or shine
