**About us**

Natural Farmworks is the first Canadian Tea Farm at grows and manufactures a superfood tea on 400-acres of organic land in the Kootenay-Boundary Region located in southeastern British Columbia. Our mission is to provide consumers with an alternate and better tasting way to consume nutrients that are abundant in supergreen foods such as barley and wheatgrass, so we have developed a high-quality tea, called Tea’d Greens (TM). Locally grown and harvested on our own organic farm, Tea’d Greens are made from the young green leaves of barley, wheat and oats and handcrafted into the varieties of Green, Oolong and Black Tea using traditional processing methods and equipment. Our leaves are hand-harvested and prepared in our on-farm tea-processing facility where small batches of tea varieties are further blended with certified organic herbs and spices to create a synergy that offers key health benefits.

**About the Position**

Tradeshows, Farmers Markets and Health & Wellness Expos are fun, fast-paced, community environments that support local producers in introducing their products to new audiences. A Tradeshow/Market Specialist position is one where you are in close contact with hundreds of shoppers who love shopping local and organic. This position gives you the oppotunity to interact with other local vendors, artisans, producers and farmers.

**Job duties**
- Support with the set up and take down of the market booth which may include lifting boxes weighing up to 50lbs at a time
- Assisting the market lead and following directions
- Maintain brand integrity by keeping the stand/booth fully stocked, organized and looking beautiful
- Fulfilling orders for customers
- Approaching customers and offering samples
- Ability to maintain a positive and happy atmosphere
- Using Shopify POS system
- Providing friendly, outstanding customer experience while thinking on your feet to answer questions
- Being knowledgeable about Natural Farmworks products and farming practices
- Standing and working on your feet for several hours at at time and in a fast-paced environment

**Qualifications** *Please note: *This position is located in the Market area. You must have reliable transportation to the markets assigned.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 15-30 per week

**Salary**: $16.00-$19.00 per hour
