Proposal Coordinator

We are looking for a Proposal Coordinator to join our team. EPFC Corp is an industry leader in the energy sector, accomplished in providing all services for lump sum turn-key projects from conceptual design through to operational start-up. The Proposal Coordinator will be responsible to coordinate the proposal process from start to finish ensuring proposals are of high quality and clearly demonstrate competitive advantages that set EPFC apart.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Develop and deliver high quality proposals including Request for Proposals (RFPs), Expression of Interest (EOI), Request for Quotations (RFQs) etc. that meet client and internal expectations.
- Facilitate internal proposal go / no go meetings
- Organizing and coordinating the inputs from the various internal technical and commercial resources to assemble full bid responses.
- Coordinating the bidding process and preparing bid templates.
- Compiling project experience, formatted resumes, and capability statements for bids
- Review and challenge estimates prepared by the technical teams.
- Ensure timely and accurate estimates, contingencies, cash flows, etc.
- Condensing bid substance and intent in the form of Executive Summary or cover letter to accompany proposal.
- Formatting of final documents and ensuring they are submitted in accordance with required stipulations.
- Conduct Turnover meetings to pass on all relevant documentation to the project team
- Development and input towards marketing and promotional material.
- Ensuring information relevant to the business development process is available and shared efficiently & effectively within the company.
- Maintaining company database of projects, proposal texts, clients, and partners.
- Supporting and fostering relationships with clients, partners, and associates.
- Periodically reviewing the bidding process, and all associated procedures/protocols.
- Participate in developing business strategies to accomplish business objectives
- Create templates and boilerplate text.
- Develop a strong internal network, and contribute to the identification of the best resources for the project team
- Participate in proposal lessons learned discussions

**QUALIFICATIONS**
- Degree or Diploma from a recognized university or technical institute or equivalent industry experience.
- 5-7 years of demonstrated experience constructing proposals, incorporating inputs from the technical teams.
- Exposure to a broad range of industrial engineering, procurement, fabrication, and construction departments (mechanical, electrical, instrument & controls)
- Experience with lump sum turn-key projects is an asset
- Experience with Prequalification’s, Expressions of Interest, RFIs and RFQs from Western Canadian producers and/or operating companies is an asset.
- Cost estimating experience is an asset
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Technical writing experience is an asset.
- Good administrative and organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritize within a busy workload.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Initiative to work with a minimum of supervision.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
- Ability to review and summarize complex documents.

We are currently operating under a hybrid work schedule with employees working from the office Monday - Wednesday and from home on Thursday/Friday.

**Experience**:

- constructing proposals: 5 years (required)
- engineering, procurement, fab and construction dept's: 1 year (required)
- prequal's, EOI's, RFI's and RFQ's in Western Canada: 1 year (required)
- technical writing: 1 year (preferred)
- Cost Estimating: 1 year (preferred)
