OUR PURPOSE
The Lighthouse Church is a new church that is being planted in Kitchener-Waterloo in the Winter and we are committed to fostering an environment where people can experience and grow in their relationship with Jesus. This summer, we will be hosting a Kids Summer Day Camp throughout the entire month of July and we are seeking a dynamic and passionate student to join our team as the Musical Theatre Coordinator. Reporting directly to the Day Camp Director, you will be responsible for setting up the camp, creating sets, but most importantly, practicing, teaching and performing skits with the staff and campers.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Design and create camp backdrops and décor
- Maintain a positive and energetic attitude while working with campers,
parents and staff
- Create, practice, teach and perform skits with the staff and campers
- Assist in the planning and execution of events and outreach activities for the new church plant
- Motivate campers and staff to participate fully
- The ability to function well in a high-paced environment and to multi-task while accomplishing detail-oriented and varied tasks

MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS
- Currently enrolled as a student in a relevant field
- Passion for working with children and youth, with a commitment to providing a safe environment
- Strong organizational and leadership skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team setting
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
- This position is for the month of June and July, with the possibility of extending to part-time hours in August
- May require occasional evening and weekend hours
- Compensation is $18/hour
