We are looking for the perfect fit to fill our available position as **Unscheduled Part-Time Receptionist at our Kanata Retirement Residence. **In this role, you will be a Director of First Impressions and creating a exceptional experience for residents and guests.

If you’re an attentive problem solver with strong communication skills we want to hear from you This is a great opportunity for students looking for administrative/office experience.

**Your day-to-day will involve**:

- Having a positive impact on our residents by problem solving and creating meaningful moments each day.
- Answering and redirecting phone calls
- Welcoming and directing guests
- Supporting our employees and management team
- Assisting with activities and resident programing
- Various clerical duties and organization
- Assisting in our dining room during breakfast and lunch
- Contributing to our office environment
- Helping with unique, special projects (event support, holiday activities, etc.)

- You live in in the Kanata or Ottawa West end area
- You speak fluent English
- Technology doesn’t scare you and you are comfortable helping others with it
- Being a dedicated team player is important to you
- Exceptionally reliable
- You pay attention to the nitty-gritty details

- Communicating with passion and professionalism is natural to you
- A genuine passion for seniors and elderly

**Bonus Skills**:

- You have a background in support roles
- You have additional language skills
- You have experience in administration/support staff role
- Experience working in seniors living organizations
- Professional experience in healthcare and geriatrics.
