Position: Group Home Manager
- Location: Edmonton
- **Wage: $30/hr**
- Hours: 44 hours per week (Full-time)

Key Responsibilities:
- Leadership & Supervision: Oversee the operations of up to 6 group homes, ensuring that each home operates smoothly, efficiently, and in accordance with our organization's mission and policies. Supervise and mentor Team Leads and care staff, fostering a positive and supportive environment.
- Client Care & Support: Ensure that clients receive individualized care tailored to their needs, facilitating assessments, and coordinating with support services such as therapists, healthcare providers, and social workers.
- Critical Incident Management: Handle and review Critical Incident Reports, ensuring thorough documentation, follow-up, and resolution of incidents in a timely manner. Provide training and guidance to staff on best practices for incident management.
- Scheduling & Operations: Manage staff scheduling, timesheets, grocery orders, and other operational logistics. Approve staff leave, ensure compliance with health and safety standards, and maintain accurate records.
- Training & Development: Identify and address staff training needs, coordinating ongoing professional development to ensure compliance with licensing and best practices.
- Compliance & Reporting: Maintain compliance with organizational policies, local regulations, and licensing requirements. Prepare detailed reports for senior management and external stakeholders when required.
**Requirements**:
**Education**:
- A **Bachelor's degree** in Social Work, Psychology, Human Services, or a related field is **required**.
- **Master's degree preferred**.
- Experience:
- **5+ years of full-time experience** in group home management or a related field.
- Experience managing staff, handling complex client needs, and overseeing program operations.
- Skills:
- Excellent writing and presentation skills with the ability to draft clear reports, training materials, and client care plans.
- Strong organizational and leadership skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Certifications (Preferred or Required):
- First Aid & CPR Certification.
- Nonviolent Crisis Intervention (NVCI) or Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI) Certification.
- Trauma-Informed Care Certification.
- Medication Administration Certification.
- Mental Health First Aid or equivalent.
- Suicide Intervention Training.
Work Schedule:
- Full-time, 44 hours per week.
- Additional hours may be required based on program needs.
