**Openings**:Afternoon Shift (Monday-Friday 3:00pm-11:30pm) & Night Shift (10:00pm-6:30am) **Job Type**: Permanent Full-time **Probation Wage**: $ 21.60 - $23.35 **Probation Completion Wage**: $ 22.97 - 23.87 **One Year Wage**: $ 24.18 - $25.08 **Benefits of Working at Mott**: - Hiring bonus - Competitive compensation package - Benefit package, including health care, dental, vision, life insurance, short term disability, out of country medical - Annual profit sharing - Group Pension and RRSP (after 2 years of employment) - Safety shoe and safety glasses allowances - Many employee lunches & events (golf tournament, summer family activity, holiday parties) **KEY Responsibilities**: - Work in compliance with the provisions of the Occupational Health and Safety Act (or the “Act”) and the regulations; and Mott policies - Communicate with Lead Hand to plan priorities and colour requirements as per schedul - Handle products with care to prevent any damages or scratches - Utilize appropriate helper when working with large parts - Place cabinets on assembly line unless otherwise instructed - Place cardboard on the floor before placing any cabinets on floor - Inform the Lead Hand prior to stacking cabinets (do not stack more than two cabinets on the floor) - Cover top of cabinets with cardboard before stacking - Prevent damage by not resting the cabinets on the front or side - Unload and place product to maximize efficient flow - Place miscellaneous product in packaging area and in correct zones - Perform and monitor quality tests - Keep records of results and communicate concerns to the Coating Lead Hand - Assemble drawer fronts and doors using small hand tools - Maintain test equipment to ensure accurate results - Seek appropriate authority for disposition should anything fail to meet quality requirements - Visually inspect painted product to ensure adequate coverage and quality finish (i.e. no runs) - Perform other duties as required **Skills & Experience**: - Able to work with power hand tools effectively (ie. cordless drill) - Attention to detail is critical - Good organizational skills - Quality oriented - Intermediate verbal communication skills - Able to establish between different colours on the colour spectrum - Physically fit for heavy lifting of >35 lbs The above are not intended to be an all-inclusive list of the duties, responsibilities and requirements of the job described.
