The Sales and Marketing department is currently hiring a **Customer Insights Specialist** who will be responsible for gathering and sharing insights that can be used to inform and support product development decision making. This role is important to the wider business as reliable customer and market insights are a critical enabler for the growth of SureShot’s product portfolio.

**Responsibilities include**:

- A deep and full understanding of the SureShot business model and customer base.
- Identifying new product and market opportunities or threats through on-going research and utilization of available information. This will include conducting primary and secondary research to investigate industry, market, and product trends; competitive products and materials; regulatory landscapes; etc.
- Conducting exploratory research to understand customer needs, wants, motivations, attitudes, and points of pain.
- Presenting and championing key insights, findings, and ideas from research.
- Working closely with new product development project team to generate new product ideas as well as product requirements.
- Ensure assigned tasks are completed on budget and on time.

**Qualifications**
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration with a major in Marketing or a related discipline
- Minimum of five years marketing experience ideally working in front end of product innovation.
- Experience in primary market research employing a variety of qualitative and quantitative methodologies.
- Past experience working in B2B environment for a company that consistently launches new products.
- Demonstrated passion, curiosity and strong interest in understanding human behavior.
- Empathetic and Customer Centric.
- Computer skills including MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with all functional areas especially engineering and sales.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to leverage data to develop strategy/decisions.
- Strategic thinker with strong written and verbal communication skills.

**Job Type**: Contract-Full time for 1 Year with opportunity for renewal.

Reports To: Director of Marketing

**Job Type**: Fixed term contract
Contract length: 12 months

**Salary**: $60,000.00-$70,000.00 per year
