The Regional STAR Peer Facilitator (RSPF) will carry out the duties and activities in partnership with the Clinical Services Team from a culturally strength-based approach. This position is responsible for supporting the STAR Regional Program with the planning training, events community resource development, community event support, administration, support with program evaluation and services and activities/initiatives pertaining to the Manitoba Regional STAR programs.

**Responsibilities**:

- Provide STAR Program and Community Support, including travel to various First Nations Communities
- Provide administrative support for goal setting and audits within communities.
- Shadowing STAR Peer Mentors to provide programming support as needed.
- Attending community events and cultural activities.
- Attend and support STAR Training quarterlies.
- Provide Program administration duties and training facilitation.
- Support event planning and training sessions.

**Requirements**:

- Grade XII or equivalent.
- Two (2) years planning/office experience.
- Knowledge and experience with FASD
- Valid First Aid/CPR certification
- Advanced knowledge and appreciation of the social, economic, environmental, and cultural issues impacting on access to services in diverse communities.
- Commitment to anti-oppression, cultural awareness, and responsiveness in working across diverse populations.
- Demonstrated excellent teamwork capabilities.
- Highly effective interpersonal and communication skills
- Highly flexible, consistently positive, and team-oriented outlook
