We are hiring a project manager to join our tech team. You will work closely with the CTO, other executives and the tech team. Your main tasks will include managing projects for the tech team and various other areas of the company.
To succeed in this role, you will be responsible for overall end to end delivery of assigned project(s), including traditional project management competencies such as project planning, schedule and critical path management, project financial management, status reporting, risk and issues management, scope management, business stakeholder management, transition to operations and project closure/review.
Job Responsibilities:
- Evaluating business processes, anticipating requirements, uncovering areas for improvement, and developing and implementing solutions.
- Co-ordinating and managing cross-functional team members and management on various company projects.
- Conducting meetings and presentations to share ideas and findings.
- Documenting and communicating the results of your efforts.
- Working closely and supporting Executive initiatives.
- Serving as a liaison between stakeholders and users.
Job Qualifications:
- Experience leading both business and technical projects, including facilitating business alignment
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, IT or related field; Master’s degree in a related field is an asset though experience is optimum
- Related industry certifications (e.g. PMP, Agile certification, Change Management certification, MBA)
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in enterprise-scale type projects and technology projects
- Experience gathering information for multiple sources, documenting scope, objectives, creating and managing timelines, and driving multiple stakeholders to consensus
- PM experience in a matrix environment including external partners and government agencies is an asset
- Experience in liaising with government agencies; strong vendor management
- Exemplary oral and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multi-disciplinary team
- Ability to develop dynamic working relationships with multiple stakeholders
**Salary**: $80,117.00-$88,130.00 per year
