**Part-Time Night Awake Residential Support Worker**

Location: Dartmouth

*Positions vary in size from 60 overnight awake hours to 120 overnight awake hours per 4 week period (eg 10pm-8am, 10:30pm-8:30am).

**KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES**:
Reporting to a House Supervisor, you will be responsible for supporting adults with intellectual disabilities in their day-to-day lives. Areas of support may include household management, life skills, personal care, and medication administration. RRSS is a dynamic and rewarding work environment where creativity and an individualized approach are encouraged to meet the needs and goals of each person you support.

**QUALIFICATIONS**:

- Grade XII. Post-secondary education in Human Services considered an asset.
- Paid or volunteer experience within community based or “helping” professions is an asset.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Positive ability to work within a team.
- The ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- The ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively.
- Strong organization and record keeping skills.
- Must demonstrate values and skills compatible with the principles and philosophies of RRSS.
- Completed 8 Provincial Core Competencies Training modules would be an asset.

**COMPENSATION**:
$21.07 per hour (plus multiple $2.35/hr shift differentials where applicable), Health and Dental Benefits, Life Insurance, LTD, AD&D, and Group RRSP plan.

**OTHER REQUIREMENTS**:
Scheduling is based on a 4 week rotational schedule including weekends.
