JOB TITLE

Experienced Construction Deficiency Handyperson

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILIITES

We are looking for an experienced Handyperson possessing a variety of skills, to repair and or complete deficiency maintenance work on newly constructed homes in accordance with the Tarion Statutory Warranty. Responsibilities include but are not limited to.
- Drywall installation and repair, sanding, patching, and painting.
- Caulking
- Laminate, hardwood floor and tile repair.
- Interior trim, back framing, cabinet repair and installation
- Minor concrete repair.
- Pick up and deliver of materials as required
- Work closely with the Service Coordinator to identify scope of work challenges, repetitive concerns and provide updates daily.
- Complete work orders in timely fashion while maintaining cleanliness and premium level of finishing.
- Interact courteously with all homeowners while maintaining productivity.
- Follow and promote all company policy and procedures and safe working practices

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS
- Proven ability to operate various hand and power tools
- Minimum 3 years of verifiable experience as a handyperson able to perform the above duties.
- Must have own tools, vehicle, and valid driver’s license.
- Positive attitude with excellent communication skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to safely lift to 50lbs.
- Multitasking skills
- First Aid/CPR certification an asset
- All applicants must be legally entitled to work in Canada
- Successful reference and criminal backcheck required

**JOB TYPE**

Full Time Monday to Friday 8am-4:30pm plus overtime $20-$28/hour

**WORKING CONDITIONS**
- Frequent bending, walking, and driving to sites
- Able to safely lift 50Lbs
- Work inside and outside in varying temperatures

**Salary**: $20.00-$28.00 per hour
