JOB TITLE
Junior Construction Deficiency Handyperson
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
We are looking for a Junior Handyperson, to join and grow with our Georgian Team. You will be working and training with our experienced Construction Deficiency Handyperson to repair and or complete deficiency maintenance work on newly constructed homes in accordance with the Tarion Statutory Warranty. Responsibilities include but are not limited to.
- Trim and drywall repair, sanding, patching, and painting.
- Caulking
- Minor concrete repair.
- Pick up and deliver materials as required.
- Complete work orders in timely fashion while maintaining cleanliness and premium level of finishing.
- Interact courteously with all homeowners while maintaining productivity.
- Follow and promote all company policies and procedures and safe working practices.

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS
- Proven ability to operate various hand and power tools.
- Minimum 1 year experience as a handyperson an asset.
- Must have own tools, vehicle, and valid driver’s license.
- Positive attitude with excellent communication skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to safely lift to 50lbs.
- Multitasking skills
- First Aid/CPR certification an asset
- All applicants must be legally entitled to work in Canada.
- Successful reference and criminal backcheck required.

WORKING CONDITIONS
- Frequent bending, walking, and driving to sites. ()
- Work inside and outside in varying temperatures.
- Travel to various construction sites within Simcoe County may be required.
