As our **Marine Fire Suppression Technician**, you will be responsible for the inspection, maintenance, installation, and repair of marine fire suppression systems. This involves ensuring compliance with industry standards, maintaining accurate documentation, and working closely with customers and marine personnel to support safety and system reliability.

What You'll Do:_**
- Perform inspection, testing, and maintenance (ITM) of marine fire suppression systems (e.g., CO₂, FM-200, Novec 1230, Halon 1301, Inergen, dry/wet chemical systems).
- Install and commission new marine fire suppression systems according to engineering drawings and regulatory standards.
- Diagnose and repair system malfunctions or failures in compliance with manufacturer specifications and maritime safety codes.
- Maintain accurate service records, inspection reports, and compliance documentation.
- Ensure all work is performed in accordance with, ABS, NFPA, Lloyds, DNV, and other applicable standards.
- Provide exceptional customer service and technical support to vessel operators and owners.
- Collaborate with other technicians, engineers, and marine personnel to ensure system reliability and vessel safety.

- A valid Driver’s License
- Ability to travel to and work out of remote client sites. Overtime and overnight travel will be required; therefore, hours of work/schedule will vary.

**_ Qualifications:_**
- 2+ years’ technical experience across various industries and a diploma in a mechanical trade would be preferred.
- Background working with fire suppression systems and life safety devices is an asset, including in marine setting.
- Fire and marine safety certifications and/or suppression training would be considered an asset.
- Note: Combinations of education in a related field and experience will be considered.
