**_Role Summary:_**

Our Chubb Halifax branch is currently looking for an experienced Security Technician to perform Installation and Service functions on intrusion alarm systems, access control, and camera systems.

**_ _**_Responsibility:_**
- Installation and programming of alarm panels, CCTV systems and Card Access systems.
- Troubleshoot existing alarm panels, CCTV systems, and Card Access systems to provide service support to customers.
- The Technician will be responsible for Surveying sites prior to installation and following all EHS regulations.
- Testing and commissioning of systems to Operations center
- Training of the end-user
- Inspection of existing systems and submission of reports.
- Participation in the on-call rotation schedule and be able to work overtime as needed.
- Must be able to travel within the geographical area with occasional overnight stays.

**_Qualifications:_**
- Experience with electronics and wiring required.
- Post-secondary education concentrated on technical electronics and networking will be valued.
- Experience and technical knowledge of security products and standards/codes is desirable.
- Good computer and networking skills required.
- Must have a valid driver's license and clean driving record.
