**Due to ongoing growth **we are currently looking for **Kaizen and Process Improvement Specialist **to join our Kitchener, Ontario team.

**Responsibilities**:

- Responsible for the integration of the KAIZEN Production System in Assembly, Cable and Office area.
- Responsible to analyze processes and to optimize workflows.
- Coach and implement continuous improvement and productivity projects.
- Identify areas of improvement and providing detailed recommendations for process changes and procedural documentation necessities.
- Guide and support the implementation of management approved recommended measures and initiatives (Policy Deployment), document the workflow (Value Stream Mapping) and follow-up on the workflow to ensure the expected efficiencies are realized.
- Implement and provide support of KAIZEN and 5S methodology in all areas of production and machine centers.
- Coordinate and work together with Supervisors, Production and Efficiency Managers and the Operations Manager.
- Ensure a presence on the shop floor.

**Required Knowledge and Experience**:

- Bachelor degree in engineering or industrial engineering or equivalent and/or 3+ years experience in implementing KAIZEN and Lean/6 Sigma.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in production environment.
- Has successfully implemented KAIZEN and Lean Management within a production environment.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in coordinating a continuous process of change in an industrial environment with Kaizen Coordination (including production system experience).
- Ideally certified Efficiency Management/KAIZEN/Lean education or similar.
- Willing to learn and to develop together with Efficiency Manager and further departments KAIZEN Production System in the facility.
- Hands-on person ready to spend most of the time on the shop floor where value-added is provided coordinating the implementation of the KAIZEN approach.
