**Job Description**:
About the Role:
The Autonomous Maintenance Specialist supports the autonomous maintenance pillar for the Kitchener facility. The AM Specialist is responsible for activities related to Clean, Inspect, Lubricate (CIL), Centerline, and Elimination of Defects. The goal is to maintain plant equipment at base condition utilizing autonomous maintenance capabilities. You will add value to this role by performing various functions including, but not limited to:

- Supports the process of establishing and maintaining centre line settings for equipment and possesses technical mastery of the process and equipment.
- Troubleshoots equipment and maintains responsibility to make minor changes.
- Conducts Autonomous Training for new and current employees.
- Ensures Defect Handling processes are executed and sustained by tracking metrics.
- Engages in plant Continuous Improvement efforts including participation with Process Improvement Teams. Identifies improvement opportunities and 5S opportunities.
- Analyzes appropriate metrics (minor stops, CIL completion, CL adherence, etc.) to govern system health.

Important Details:
This is a full-time permanent role on the day shift, however, may require flexibility to work flex shifts as required.

You will fit right in if you have:

- Experience with preventative and predictive maintenance programs.
- Experience with shop floor data collection systems (MII, Red Zone, etc.) or demonstrated technical competency to learn new systems.
- Demonstrated communication skills to train employees on new concepts at all levels of the facility
- Experience or competency to effectively audit processes against established standards.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
