**Job Posting: Dispatcher Position**

Location**:Fort Saskatchewan, Alberta**

Wage: Starting at **$23.98** per hour

Schedule -**Full-Time** Schedule: 12-hour **rotating shifts** (days, nights, weekends, and statutory/religious holidays)

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Receive emergency calls and gather information regarding incidents.
- Dispatch appropriate **emergency services** to the location of incidents.
- Transmit necessary information to field personnel via radio or telephone systems.
- Maintain accurate records of all actions and timings during emergencies.
- Oversee **CCTV cameras** and access control alarms.
- Answer routine **telephone and radio calls.**
- Manage the basic operation and response of security alarm systems.
- Control **site access** for deliveries and visitors.

**Requirements**:

- Minimum of **5 years of security experience**, preferably in an industrial setting. Previous dispatch experience is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of **radio and telephone communications**; proficient in Microsoft Office programs.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English; ability to communicate clearly and effectively.
- Ability to make sound decisions using available information and respond appropriately to changing circumstances.
- Excellent prioritization skills and multi-tasking ability.
- Must be able to work with mínimal supervision and demonstrate a strong attendance record.
- High school diploma required.
- Must have an individual Security Officer's License through Alberta Solicitor General.

- Applicants must be willing to work a rotating schedule, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays (Mazeppa schedule).
