**Job Posting**: Emergency Security Dispatcher

**Location**: Fort Saskatchewan, Alberta

**Wage**: $22.00 to $23.98 per hour

**Schedule**:Full-Time, planned 12-hour rotating shifts (days, nights, weekends, and holidays)

**Position Overview**:
We are seeking an _Emergency Security Dispatcher_ to join our team in a steady, established industrial setting. In this role, you'll provide real-time support for emergency incidents, monitor security systems, and dispatch responses to ensure the site's safety and security. This position offers hands-on experience in high-stakes security dispatching, ideal for those looking to build or enhance careers in emergency response and security operations.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Receive, evaluate, and respond to emergency calls, ensuring accurate documentation of all incidents and actions taken.
- **Dispatch appropriate emergency** services and personnel as needed, maintaining clear and professional communication.
- Monitor** CCTV and access control alarms,** and document incident timelines and outcomes accurately.
- **Operate security alarm systems** and control site access for deliveries and visitors.
- Manage routine calls and provide radio and telephone support to field personnel.

**Requirements**:

- Minimum of** **_5 years of security experience_**, preferably in an industrial setting, with emergency dispatch experience.
- Familiarity with radio and telephone communication systems and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Excellent English communication skills (both verbal and written).
- Strong decision-making abilities under pressure and the ability to prioritize and multitask effectively.
- Strong attendance record and reliability for rotating shift work.
- _Alberta Security Officer's License_ through the Alberta Solicitor General is required.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
