**Position**:Marketing Assistant

**Reports to**:Canadian Digital Marketing Program Manager

**Location**:Woodbridge, ON

**Summary**:
The role of JELD-WEN of Canada Marketing Assistant is a direct report position to the Canadian Digital Marketing Program Manager. As a member of the marketing team, this position requires the ability to problem solve and work under the pressure of tight deadlines. Creativity and an ability to communicate well are essential. Strong organizational skills, good writing ability, comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft Office and data analyst skills are assets. The ability to work independently and multi-task is required to succeed in this position.

The assistant position will work closely with the marketing managers, marketing coordinators, advertising agencies, customer care and sales teams. The job will entail administrative support functions including, but not limited to, filing, clerical assistance, and database management.

**Essential Duties and Responsibilities**
- Complying with JELD-WEN EH&S requirements, legal requirements including policies, standards, rules, and programs
- Social media scheduling and social media content calendar support
- Lead qualification and management assistance
- Reputation management support on various channels
- Assist in the development of marketing materials
- Maintain accurate database records between platforms
- Perform administrative tasks related to digital marketing
- Working with a marketing automation platform to track activities and deployments
- Interface with other marketing personnel, and assist in marketing projects as required
- Compliance with all JELD-WEN corporate guidelines on marketing and business ethics
- Other daily tasks and duties as required

**Qualifications**:

- Strong skills with Microsoft Office products
- Currently studying for a bachelor's degree in Marketing, Advertising, Design, or Business Administration
- Excellent writing and presentation skills
- Digital marketing skill set and experience with creating and posting social media content
- Proven organizational, planning, and prioritizing skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects, tasks and assignments while adhering to strict timelines
- Social Media experience directly related to Business Marketing is a requirement
