**The **Role**

The Digital Marketing Specialist will be responsible for planning, managing, and adapting our digital marketing efforts, in addition to driving Search Engine Optimization success through content creation and content marketing. The Digital Marketing Specialist must be a digitally savy, self-motivated, organized multitasker able to handle many different projects at once and meet tight deadlines.
- Website management of the Martin Deerline and Martine Deerline E-Commerce site, including but not limited to maintaining inventory listings, updating products, developing content, general edits and reviewing analytics.
- Set-up and maintain Search Advertising campaigns and Social Advertising campaigns.
- Research, develop and execute optimization strategies that increase Martin Deerline’s website search engine results rankings.
- Grow website traffic, lead volume and brand awareness. Monitor site traffic and track conversions through Google Analytics.
- Perform keyword research and discovery for new relevant keywords to use throughout website, marketing campaigns and materials.
- Conduct market research, analyze trends and identify target audiences.
- Assist in strategizing, creating, and managing content for digital media platforms.
- Track, report and analyze website analytics and pay-per-click initiatives and campaigns.
- Prepare reports and analytics on the overall performance of various marketing campaigns including Key Performance Indicators.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to brainstorm new and innovative growth strategies and marketing techniques.
- Assist in the creation and editing of written, video and photo content for social media platforms.
- Maintain brand integrity across all marketing platforms.
- Build and maintain relationships with external vendors, corporate partners, and internal departments.
- Assist with other marketing team tasks including but not limited to customer events, tradeshows, sponsorship activations, creating marketing assets, building traditional marketing campaigns.

**Skills & Qualifications**
- Experience in digital marketing or related field.
- SEO and SEM experience managing campaigns on Google.
- Proficient understanding and knowledge of website analytics tools, primarily the Google Marketing Tools and Google Analytics.
- Understanding of Google Tag Manager and Facebook Pixel conversion tracking.
- Understanding of marketing elements (including traditional and digital marketing) and market research methods.
- Attention to detail, time and priority management is necessary for success.
- Organized, self-motivated and driven to learn, develop and grow with us.
- Ability to work effectively within a team and independently.
- Certificate, diploma, or degree in marketing or digital media is a definite asset but not required.
