Join our dynamic team as our Allied Health CQI Programs Director

Job Summary

Reports to the Administrator and is responsible for the management and administration of Programs and Support Services to include Staff Development, Quality, CQI, WSIB and Accreditation, including Dietitian Services and Social Work Services. Responsible for coordinating external services and securing the service agreements and evaluation of service providers. Ensures that program and support services are consistent with corporate policies, Ministry legislated requirements and Canadian Council on Health Services Accreditation standards. Coordinate and oversee facility-wide Health & Safety Program.

**QUALIFICATIONS**

Undergraduate degree or diploma in a health or social science. Must posses a certificate in long term care management from a recognized course. RN background is an asset. Training in Quality Improvement**. **Must have had a minimum of 3 years experience in long term care.

**Knowledge**

Must have sound knowledge and background in Geriatric Care including nursing, medical, dietary and activation requirements. A background in facility management including sanitation, fire and safety standards, business and personnel administration. A thorough knowledge of the legislated requirements for long term care facilities in Ontario and other pertinent Provincial and Municipal Statues. Must be knowledgeable of new trends and developments in the geriatric field

Pay: $83,000.00-$85,000.00 per year
