The Clinical Supervisor is a member of the Professional Practice Program leadership team. Reporting to the Director of Professional Practice, the Clinical Supervisor will assist in supporting the implementation and sustaining of quality improvement projects and initiatives such as Safe Exchange of Information, We Move and Falls Prevention, to advance corporate clinical care priorities and best practices. The Clinical Supervisor will assist and support the Professional Practice and Allied Health Clinical Managers at all sites related to recruitment, hiring and scheduling, for promotion of effective human resources utilization for high quality patient care. In this role, you will support the provision of extraordinary care across Interprofessional teams by facilitating Interprofessional Practice Orientation, assisting with site-specific orientation and supporting team operations related to management of equipment and supplies.

The successful incumbent will build partnerships and provide professional practice expertise to assist in supporting both individual and team practice. This role will support implementation of best practices through knowledge translation, people/change management expertise, policy development and clinical staff development. The Clinical Supervisor will provide support and leadership for various Professional Practice committees, such as the Interprofessional Advisory Committee.

The successful applicant will also provide after hours on call management support to the site on a rotational basis.

**QUALIFICATIONS**:

- Current registration as a Regulated Health Professional in OT/PT/SLP/Social Work, in good standing with the respective Regulatory College in OT/PT/SLP/SW
- Baccalaureate Degree in a health-related discipline
- Master's degree in a health-related discipline, Adult Education, Business Administration, Health Management, or other related field of expertise
- Minimum of 5 years clinical experience in an acute care setting
- Minimum 2-3 years formal management/leadership experience
- Demonstrated knowledge translation skills to implement evidence-based practices
- Demonstrated proficiency with program development and implementation, project and change management, and evaluation
- Committed to excellence in all elements of professional practice, including excellence in patient care processes, measuring outcomes, collaboration, and professional growth through education and research utilization
- Demonstrated experience with quality improvement strategies and methodologies
- Superior interpersonal and leadership skills including but not limited to; critical thinking, communication, responsiveness, conflict resolution, people management, change management, visionary thinking, organizational skills, effective customer service, decision-making skills and problem solving
- Demonstrated conflict resolution and organizational skills
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and as a member of the Professional Practice team
- Demonstrated ability to manage a large/diversified workload with rapidly changing priorities and challenging deadlines
- Demonstrated commitment to continuing education
- Demonstrated commitment to the vision, mission and values of Niagara Health
- Consistent and regular attendance required
