What you’ll do:

- Review and assess Building Warranty Claims to determine and facilitate full subrogation recoveries from the builders/developer and other appropriate parties in accordance with the Builders Agreement.
- Work with Claims Adjusters on policy coverages, assessment of liability and file documentation to facilitate maximum recovery success.
- Maintenance of claim financial records through the process of recording claims, maintenance or adequate records and reserves, monitoring and researching full accessibilities on securities, letters of credit and personal guarantees.
- Reporting of claim information to the Underwriting partners through communication of adverse risk information and recovery from other Insurers.
- Collaborating with lawyers and collections agencies regarding recovery on contentious files.
- meeting with builders/developers/underwriting partners to discuss roles and obligations of parties under the builders agreements and related legislations.

What you’ll bring:

- College or other post secondary education
- 3-5 years Warranty Claims experience and/or experience with recovery process/collections
- General knowledge of Warranty/ Property Insurance processes- Preferred general knowledge or Construction Industry and practices and/or Surety.
- Preferred experience in litigation and collaborating with counsel on legal processes and proceedings related to collections and subrogation.
- Knowledge of NAVI and RTM systems
- Excellent Customer service and human relations skills
- Good investigation and negotiation skills
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
