**ETO Project Manager**

**Summary**:
The Project Manager role is responsible for leading and directing customer facing Engineer to Order (ETO) projects in the Power Control Business (PCB) organization. Scope of supply may contain products from the Medium Voltage Business (MVB) and Low Voltage Motor Control Center (LVMCC) business along with 3rd party products and services.

The Project Manager will work with many cross functional teams including Commercial Engineering, Application Engineering, Finance, Quality, Integrated Supply Chain (ISC), Global Sales & Marketing (GSM) and distribution to deliver a positive experience to our customers.

The Project Manager will utilize Project Management Institute (PMI) principles (initiate, plan, execute, monitor, and close) required to deliver projects on time, under budget and with superior quality.

Tasks include leading the project team, managing scope of supply, project budget, project schedule, project forecasting, stakeholder communication and issue resolution.

Organizational and communication skills are needed to manage many projects at once. The Project Manager will lead a project team by influence, be responsible for all aspects of the project and act as a single point of contact to the customer.

The Project Manager will play a critical role in attaining customer loyalty and satisfaction while also attaining internal metrics such as earnings, on-time deliveries, and project quality.

**Skills, Knowledge, Experience, Education (SKEE)**:

- Proficiency with Project Management functions such as customer interface, project budget maintenance, project schedule maintenance, contract management and project resources planning.
- Manages execution of multiple moderate to large scale projects within margin targets and customer satisfaction.
- Ability to lead, motivate and work within a multi-discipline technical team environment.
- Ability to manage an indirect reporting and geographically dispersed engineering, manufacturing, logistic and procurement teams using collaboration tools and remote management skill.
- Strong multi-tasking and organizational skills.
- Excellent communicator and presenter. Ability to communicate concisely to varying management levels, both internally and externally.
- Strong understanding of financial aspects of project management with technical background in power and control.

- Ability to process information to address potential issues as early as possible to minimize impact, mitigate risk and provide a positive experience for all project stakeholders.
- Ability to problem solve on financial, commercial, technical, and schedule related issues and the ability to understand the severity of the situation and pro-actively escalate when required
- Effectively manages multiple tasks and resources independently.
- Makes quality decisions in complex situations.
- Ability to review and understand Contracts and Project Specifications
- Able to scale communication to the level of detail required based on the audience

- Ability to work non-standard hours when handling global projects
- Willingness to travel as required
- Complete engagement with all project stakeholders including Customers, Engineers, Production, 3rd party vendors, and Management
- Accepts overall quality, financial and schedule responsibility of assigned projects.
- Lead continuous improvement projects
- Recognized resource for the Leadership Team

**Basic Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s Degree preferred, or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
- Legal authorization to work in Canada is required. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas for this job position.

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Engineering Technologist / Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering discipline.
- Typically requires 5 years of experience in Engineering or Project Management, preferably with experience in power and control, drives and/or networks.
- Willingness to become certified as Project Management Professional (PMP).Project Management Professional (PMP), Professional Engineer (P.E/P. Eng.)
- Background of utilizing Lean Six Sigma
- Experience in team leadership or management
- Experience working
