Support Worker

**Job Overview**
We are seeking a compassionate Support Worker to join our team and provide essential care to individuals in need. The role involves assisting with daily activities and ensuring the well-being of our clients in various care settings.
**Duties**:
- Provide personalized support to individuals in private residences
- Assist with meal preparation, medication administration, and hygiene
- Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and safe environment
- Offer companionship and engage clients in meaningful activities
- Provide specialized care for individuals with ASD
**Qualifications**:
- Experience in caregiving, or related fields is preferred
- Knowledge of nonverbal communication techniques is a plus
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and follow care plans
- Strong communication skills and empathy towards individuals requiring assistance
- Certification in first aid and CPR is desirable
- Certification in CPI - NonViolent Crisis Intervention
- Willingness to undergo additional training as required

Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 10 - 40 per week

- CPI - Nonviolent Crisis Intervention (preferred)
- Police check -vulnerable sector (preferred)
