**Assistant Store Manager - Full-Time**

Location: Port Coquitlam

Ideal Start Date: December 15th

We are a fast-growing, independent retailer specializing in new and used sporting goods, including top brands like CCM, Warrior, K2, Rawlings, and Easton. We are seeking a passionate and knowledgeable Assistant Store Manager to join our team and help drive our in-store and online growth.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead a team of part-time sales associates, providing training, guidance, and motivation to achieve sales targets both in-store and online.
- Deliver exceptional customer service by greeting customers, answering questions, and creating an engaging shopping experience.
- Manage daily store operations, including opening/closing, cash handling, and balancing registers.
- Grow our online presence and social media following through strategic campaigns and content creation.
- Increase store sales by cross-selling products, introducing promotions, and developing marketing initiatives.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing store environment.
- Support product knowledge development for staff and customers, including sporting goods, equipment repairs, and maintenance (skate sharpening, ski/snowboard waxing, etc.).
- Assist with inventory management, restocking, and visual merchandising.
- Work flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications:

- Customer Service: 2-3 years preferred.
- Retail Management: 1 year preferred.
- Social Media Management: 1 year preferred.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a growing team.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).

Compensation:

- Hourly Pay: $18-$20, based on experience
- Bonus Structure: Potential for additional earnings
