**ACCOUNTING CLERK - Deal Posting | full-time permanent**

The Accounting Clerk - Deal Posting is critical to the business operations of the organization and works closely with the finance and management teams. This role is dedicated to ensuring our financial operations run smoothly and efficiently by processing high volumes of accounts payable transactions, reconciling payment and vendor accounts, and other administrative tasks to support the finance function.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- ** Deal Processing**: Posting of all sold vehicle deals.
- ** Data Entry**: Enter invoice details, including amounts, payment terms, and expense categorization, into the accounting software.
- ** Record Keeping**: Maintain organized and up-to-date records of all accounts payable transactions and related documents.
- ** Reporting**: Assist in the preparation of financial reports, including accounts payable aging reports and cash flow analysis.
- ** Compliance**: Ensure compliance with all financial and accounting policies and regulations, both internally and externally.
- ** Ad Hoc Tasks**: Handle ad hoc financial tasks and projects as assigned by the Controller or the Finance Department and assist payable/receivables as required.

**Skills, Abilities, and Education Required**:

- Certificate, diploma, or degree in accounting, finance, or a related discipline.
- A minimum of 2 - 4 years of experience in a similar role with high volumes of transaction processing. Dealership experience with PBS software is preferred but not required.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- A growth mindset and willingness to learn and use various technology.
- Self-directed with the ability to work proactively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for vendor and team interactions.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
- Thorough understanding of accounting principles and practices

**Schedule and Location**:This full-time permanent role works primarily in-office from Monday to Friday.
