Concrete is a live product and thus requires constant communication between driver, customer, sub-contractors, and batcher/dispatch. We believe in training our team with the tenants of effective and quality communication. We actively look for signs of miscommunication/confusion in our order process so we can ensure our customer knows exactly WHAT they are getting, WHEN they are getting, WHERE they are getting, and WHY they are getting each and every order.

The Dispatcher is responsible for the day-to-day delivery of concrete to the job sites. This role is also responsible for building and maintaining customer relationships. This customer facing role requires a service-oriented mindset and a highly professional approach. The Dispatcher schedules and dispatches orders, while providing excellent customer service to ensure customer satisfaction, minimize delivery costs and promote company sales.

Primary Role - Schedule concrete deliveries

Secondary Role - Support and backup the Batch Plant Operator

Additional Role - Provide additional support with the observation and housekeeping of the plant

**Responsibilities**:
proactively address problems and suggest solutions

receive and dispatch orders

assess situation and prioritize calls

oversee the route of field units and track delivery status of products

coordinate schedule in the most effective manner

inform field units about orders and traffic

track and update call logs and data in software programs

provide reports to upper management

enforcement of the company safety program and best practices
