Our operations division is growing and we are seeking to hire an experienced and professional Volumetric Truck Operator for the delivery and batching of ordered concrete and other associated products to construction sites in a safe and efficient manner. **Duties and Responsibilities**
- Load truck with necessary aggregates, sand and cement powder according to prescribed procedures, including water and other required additives
- Delivers product to site in a safe and efficient manner
- Mix and prepare concrete batch at job sites in accordance to order specifications, using approved mix designs
- Discharge concrete, involving deployment of extension chutes, placing on main chute, driving in and out of areas with heavy pedestrian traffic and various construction obstacles
- Demonstrates understanding for customer needs, ensuring to provide superior customer service at all times
- Responsible to identify and resolve any customer complaints and/or forward to management as required
- Maintain a clean and mechanically sound truck
- Perform other plant and yard duties as assigned

**Qualifications**
- Must have valid Class AZ or Class DZ commercial driver’s license
- Knowledge and experience in the concrete industry
- General knowledge of testing concrete and aggregates
- Geographic knowledge of Simcoe County and Muskoka
- Understanding of the Highway Traffic Act and Municipalities By laws
- Ability to transport material with attention to detail and emphasis on safety
- Self-motivated with ability to work with limited supervision, ability to prioritize tasks
- Physically fit, comfortable lifting up to 50lbs
- Ability to perform daily equipment checks including pre and post trip checks and complete required paperwork
- Customer-focused, provide exceptional customer service and anticipating future customer needs
- Must be able to take direction from supervisor, work as part of a team, keep required work schedule, with a strong emphasis on attention to detail
- Flexible to work overtime, weekends, and different shifts as required
