As a Contractor Sales Manager, you will play a pivotal role in establishing and nurturing relationships with our valued contractor customers. You will be responsible for driving sales growth through effective communication, understanding customer needs, managing inventory replenishment, collaborating with various departments and overseeing the Pro department. Your contributions will directly impact on the success of our contractor sales division and enhance Cobourg Home Hardware Building Centre’s reputation as a go-to solution provider for contractors.

**DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Develop and cultivate strong, long-lasting relationships with commercial customers within the construction industry.
- Actively drive sales by identifying and addressing current and future needs of contractor clients, utilizing CHHBC’s comprehensive product offerings.
- Collaborate with contractors to understand their requirements and tailor solutions that align with their projects.
- Identify opportunities for new account growth, generate business leads and effectively convert leads into sales.
- Keep abreast of marketplace dynamics, including emerging suppliers and products, and communicate relevant changes and updates to contractor clients.
- Provide accurate and timely quotes and maintain meticulous records of Pro Account transactions and interactions.
- Exceed sales targets and credit goals while ensuring a high-quality customer experience.

**QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE**:

- A strong desire to foster relationships and engage with professionals in the construction industry.
- Proven ability to thrive in a dynamic environment, displaying adaptability and initiative.
- A result-oriented mindset, driven by achieving and surpassing targets.
- Effective communication skills to coordinate with various internal departments, suppliers and contractors.
- Physical agility, including the ability to stand, climb ladders and lift items.
- Preferred combination of experience in sales, retail and the home improvement industry.
- Multilingual abilities are advantageous.

**Salary**: $55,000.00-$70,000.00 per year

- Cobourg, ON K9A 0K3: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
