Toronto Poly Clinic is a busy Multidisciplinary Chronic Pain Management Centre and Family Medicine & Walk-In Clinic. Our Branches include Thornhill (Bayview and John) and North York (Yonge and Finch). We are involved in physician pain management, pain research, and patient education.

We currently have an opening for individuals who have a positive and professional attitude to come into our clinic and work as a **Medical Office Manager **within our team **at our North York branch to begin immediately.**

This position requires strong and well-developed clinical and communication skills in-person, via phone and computer. Our office is fast paced and is in the midst of the transition to electronic medical records. Being a strong individual as well as a cooperative team player with experience in the field is an absolute must for this position.

**Responsibilities (including but not limited to)**:

- Oversee the daily operations of the medical office, ensuring smooth and efficient workflow
- Manage and supervise office staff, including nurses and administrative personnel
- Develop and implement office policies and procedures to maintain compliance with healthcare regulations
- Maintain electronic medical records and ensure accurate documentation
- Coordinate patient scheduling and manage patient flow within the office
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to optimize patient care and outcomes
- Handle patient inquiries, complaints, and concerns in a professional and timely manner
- Manage human resources functions, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations
- Monitor and manage office budget, including expenses and revenue generation

**Qualifications**:

- Previous experience working in a medical office or healthcare setting is required
- Knowledge of electronic medical records systems and proficiency in computer skills
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to effectively supervise a team
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Knowledge of healthcare regulations and compliance requirements
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism
