Looking for an experienced Fabrication Foreman to oversee the fabrication shop to start immediately.

The Shop Foreman is responsible for the overall supervision of the Fabrication shop employees and contractors. Ensuring projects are in accordance with design drawings, on schedule, QA/QC policy, and while following safety guidelines.

**Responsibilities**:
The broad responsibilities of this position are as follows:

- Supervise fabrication shop activities (Welding, Assembly, Painting, Delivery, and Installation).
- Ensure project work is executed in a safe, productive environment with equal consideration to quality and cost
- Ensure correct job scope and material requirements and communicate receipt of material deliveries/delays for work schedules - ensure all activity paperwork flows correctly
- Collaborate with BC Operation Manager, General Manager on task-planning and communicate task-lists and assignments.
- Perform final Function testing of complete assemblies
- Conduct regular Shop inspections to monitor workmanship and safety compliance
- Report project progress to BC Operations Manager and/or General Manager
- Other duties as assigned by management.

**Qualifications and Education**
- Journeyman Certificate (required)
- Possess the technical skillset required
- 3-5 years experience in a supervisory position (preferred)

**Salary**: From $42.00 per hour

- 10 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- On call
- Overtime
- Weekend availability

Supplemental pay types:

- Overtime pay

**Education**:

- AEC / DEP or Skilled Trade Certificate (required)

**Experience**:

- Metal fabrication: 10 years (preferred)
- Supervising experience: 5 years (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Red Seal (required)
- CWB's (required)

Work Location: One location
