Kangaroo Contracting Inc. is on the lookout for a talented full-time Estimator to join our dynamic team If you possess excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, and are well-versed in the latest version of Excel and Quickbooks, we want to hear from you

**Responsibilities**:

- Prepare accurate and timely cost estimates for construction and landscaping maintenance projects
- Review project plans, specifications, and other documents to determine the scope of work and materials required
- Collaborate with project managers, architects, subcontractors, and clients to gather necessary information for estimating purposes
- Analyze project requirements and develop strategies to minimize costs while maintaining quality standards
- Research and obtain pricing information from suppliers and subcontractors
- Present estimates to management and clients in a clear and professional manner
- Negotiate pricing with suppliers and subcontractors to ensure competitive bids
- Track and monitor project costs throughout the construction process

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree in construction management or a related field (preferred)
- Proven experience in construction estimating or project management
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and building codes
- Excellent mathematical skills and attention to detail
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks
- Valid Class 5 Drivers License

**How to Apply**:
**Salary**: $24.00-$32.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
