**Position Description**:
The Project Coordinator is responsible for a variety of activities that support the strategy and business operations of Perioperative Services at the Hospital for Sick Children. Working with multiple internal and external stakeholders, the incumbent demonstrates a solid understanding of project coordination tasks and will equally be analytical and facile with data.

**Here's What you'll Get To Do**:

- Assists Perioperative Services Leadership with various aspects of projects, such as strategic planning, tracking, monitoring, documenting and reporting
- Maintains timely communication and updates with all project team members, including internal SickKids staff and external stakeholders.
- Assists with organizing & scheduling project meetings and coordinating the schedule of project activities & events.
- Coordinates and maintains logistics required for conducting meetings, workshops & events
- Assists with preparation of presentations
- Responsible to problem solve and escalate issues when appropriate
- Generate data from the Hospital’s EPIC system and organize the data/reports in useful ways that supports the end goal and stakeholder audience
- Ability to co-develop data collection tools and facilitate roll out to stakeholders
- Assist with benchmarking and development of metrics and KPIs to monitor and evaluate projects
- Ability to mine and collect data from various sources and convert into format to facilitate modelling and predictions. Ability to convert into presentation format that is simple, digestible and attractive.
- Ability to address and synthesize multiple data requests in support of various strategic initiatives/projects and bring a global view to these activities to ensure data requests are maximally leveraged and transparently integrated and made available to Perioperative Services Leaders.

**Here's What you'll Need**:

- Master’s trained - degree in science preferable
- Previous experience in project or program coordination considered a key requirement/qualification
- Experience in project coordination activities with complex and large-scale projects an asset
- Well-developed skills and experience with using Microsoft Office products such as Word, Visio, Project and PowerPoint. Master at Excel and pivot tables, graphs etc.
- Experience in, or willingness to learn quickly and become competent in: REDCap, QlikView, SPSS, SAS, iProject, MailChimp, PowerBI
- Advanced organizational, administrative, problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
- Superior time management skills and ability to manage multiple priorities/deadlines.
- Strong written and oral communications skills
- Ability to think conceptually, work independently, collaboratively and at an operational level.
- Attention to detail
- Any of the following is considered an asset: hospital experience, completion of data management certificate for clinical research, certificate in project management, LEAN Six Sigma training, proficient in quality improvement methodology, meta-analysis, systematic review, study design, knowledge of REB, quality improvement projects

**Employment Type: Full-Time, Contract - 13 months**
