Today the brand is diversified into three channels (1) pierogi house quick service restaurants, (2) partner with a network of ghost kitchens, and (3) produces retail and wholesale frozen pierogi products for grocers.

Reporting to the COO, the Production Manager will oversee and be responsible for the effective, efficient and safe operations of our pierogi production. The successful incumbent will also support and participate with the Management Team to focus on continuously improving processes and efficiencies within the operation.
Production takes place 7am to 5pm, Monday to Friday. Our production team is currently comprised of 7 staff members.
**Key Accountabilities**:
- Responsible for the overall effectiveness of the kitchen operations; this is a ‘hands-on’ position that directly supervises all shift staff, including training, planning workloads, and developing production schedules
- Responsible for authorizing and monitoring employees' time and attendance
- Work with COO/CEO to plan weekly pierogi production/supply
- Responsible for ordering ingredients and managing raw input inventory; as well as logging incoming ingredients and costs
- Enter/validate daily production metrics into Pierogi House system
- Execute and test process tweaks to increase efficiency - current backlog of possible process efficiencies that have been identified
- Audit the team’s execution of all health and safety protocols, to uphold HAACP standards
- Own and execute other projects as the business grows
**Qualifications & Competencies**:
- Minimum five (5) years of experience in a HACCP regulated consumer packaged goods manufacturing environment is required. Food industry preferred.
- Minimum three (3) years of hands-on supervisory experience is required.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Solid analytical skills with knowledge of process improvement techniques
- Strong computer skills, including Windows and MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
**Physical Demands**:
- Standing and walking for extended length of time
- Some lifting will be required for moving inventory and ingredients
**Salary**: $60,000.00-$90,000.00 per year
