**Location**: Toronto, ON (443 University Avenue)
**Description: **
The Student Experience Coordinator (SEC) is an integral member of the student services team, providing administrative and advising support to current and future students. The SEC is responsible for a range of administrative tasks associated with the smooth and successful running of both ILSC and Greystone College. These administrative tasks include, but are not limited to, creating various reports, coordinating orientation and graduation, collaborating with internal teams to support on finance and accounting tasks, answering phones, managing mail, etc. In addition to administrative functions, the SEC counsels students and answers and questions or concerns they may have.
**Job Duties: **
The duties of this position include, but are not limited to:
- Ensures excellent customer service while providing front desk student/customer/staff support and answers phones
- Prepares welcome packages and communication for pre-arrival students
- Helps current students with any general questions or issues they have on non-academic areas
- Receives and tracks payments
- Assists with event management, including creation of sessional student activity calendar
- Completes a broad range of database related tasks, including the allocation of students into class
- Supports on student orientation and graduation
- Aids Student Services Manager and other managers with assigned tasks and projects.
- Assists the Student Services Manager and the Director of Junior programs with preparation for and delivery of ILSC’s Summer Junior program in the following areas:
- _In advance of program and, in collaboration with all departments, track/support preparations for course_
- _Arrangement and management of all activity bookings for Junior and Group clients_
- _Recruitment and training of Juniors and Groups related staff as required_
- _Implementation of policies, procedures, and support systems for the Junior Camp program_
- Other administration duties/tasks as required
**Essential Qualifications, Skills, and Attributes: **
- Strong communication skills in English
- A second language (esp. Turkish or Spanish) is an asset.
- Ability to multitask with strong attention to detail Excellent organizational and computer skills
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
- Collaborative and adaptable
- A self-starter who works well individually and in groups
- Experience working with international students, esp. Juniors
