**Manager, Live-In Treatment**

**(Permanent Full-Time, 35 hours/week)**

**Non-Bargaining Unit Position**

The Manager of Live-In Treatment, in collaboration with the leadership table, is responsible for setting the direction and service delivery for YouthLink’s Live-In Treatment Home; a nine-bed live-in treatment residence for female identified youth (14-18) and youth who are gender fluid, non-binary and transitioning.

Reporting to the Senior Manager, Clinical Operations, the Manager of Live-In Treatment is accountable for ensuring a safe, structured, and therapeutic setting for the youth and families within the Program. This role leads the day-to-day operations of the residence, ensuring full compliance with Ministry Residential Licensing Standards. Key responsibilities include managing client admissions and discharges, facilitating the implementation of individualized treatment plans, and delivering ongoing training and support to front-line, interdisciplinary staff. The Manager works collaboratively with families, caregivers, and external partners to align services with legislative and best practice standards, while also maintaining a focus on care quality, regulatory compliance, and optimal bed usage within the region.

This role is responsible for actively setting the tone for the culture of the organization and centering YouthLink values and approach in all decision making. Based in Scarborough, this position must be deeply competent in, and committed to, promoting equity and Black excellence in everything YouthLink does.

**Highlights of Your Role**

Program Leadership & Service Delivery:

- Oversees day-to-day operations, ensuring safe, trauma-informed, and client-centered care.
- Responsible for managing the annual licensing process; ensuring operations are in accordance with ministry guidelines, accreditation standards and YouthLink policies and procedures.
- Collaborates with internal teams (clinical, intake, facilities, and HR) to ensure efficient service delivery and optimal bed utilization.
- Manages organizational risk and opportunities at the program level; develops and implements risk mitigation plans.
- Works with Central Point of Intake (CPI) and YouthLink’s core services intake worker to manage waitlist and new referrals received through Ocean platform.
- Provides oversight for all administrative functions: medication binders, daily logs and shift change logs, counts, housekeeping maintenance and property service requests.
- Leads and facilitates annual service planning initiates for the LIT program and bi-annually evaluates progress.
- Works in collaboration with Senior Manager, Clinical Operations and Director to develop annual training plans.

Team Management & Supervision:

- Recruits, provides orientation, onboarding, and continuously develops/trains direct reports (residential and night counsellors, relief, and agency staff) in accordance with accreditation and licensing standards.
- Facilitates staff meetings weekly, creates the agenda, to review clients and other team/agency business.
- Determines with intake team client appropriateness for service during weekly team meetings.
- Provides bi-weekly administrative and reflective supervision, conducts performance evaluations, and manages staff scheduling, disciplinary matters, and grievance resolution.
- Facilitates and organizes quarterly relief and agency meetings with other managers to update on changes within the home or procedures.
- Manages disciplinary procedures and handles grievances at stage one for
