Qc Welding Inspector

Winnipeg, Canada Koch Stainless Products Ltd Full time

Perform inspections, in-process welding checks, tests, and sampling procedures of in-process parts and components. Issue NCR’s and aid in correcting manufacturing processes.

Duties and responsibilities

1. Perform daily spot checks on in-process weld assemblies per supplied drawings

2. Accurately document the results of inspections and testing

3. Perform First Article inspections and document parts against customer drawings

4. Approve or reject subassemblies or finished products as required.

5. Issue NCR’s and help in creating Corrective Actions

6. Accurately document the results of the inspections and testing.

7. Assist in the writing and updating inspection procedures, protocol and checklists.

8. Evaluate problems and make initial recommendations for possible corrective action to Quality Manager.

9. Work with production management and Quality Assurance to provide feedback to welders regarding accuracy of drawings and weld procedures

10. Assist in cleaning and packaging of parts as required

Skills Required

1. 2-3 years welding experience

2. Computer skills - Intermediate skills required to access / manage drawings, documents, spreadsheets

3. Intermediate measuring equipment use

4. Welding Blueprint reading

5. Forklift experience

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $24.00-$26.00 per hour
