Edmonton Truck Training is looking for a passionate, professional who wants to be a part of our team.

We are looking to hire a Class 1 MELT instructor who has experience driving

Position Title Licensed MELT Driving Instructor

Required Qualifications

Successful applicants must have the following requirements:

- Proof of a valid class 1 drivers license - Proof of an acceptable driving record (no more than 6 demerit points, and no drivers license suspensions or cancellations within a two year period) - Current Criminal Record check including a Vulnerable Sector check will be required

We are looking for a MELT Driving Instructor who is already approved, or an individual interested to become a licensed MELT Driving Instructor approved by Alberta Transportation.

If we find the right individual with a hard work ethic, and great communication skills we are willing to train you to become a Class 1 Instructor. We need an instructor who is patient and is able to calmly and effectively teach. This individual will need to pass the knowledge test required by Alberta Transportation. The individual who applies needs to be aware that they will be required to study on their own time to prepare for the test. There will also be a practical test required once the knowledge test has been completed successfully.

We pay competitively.

**Salary**: $28.00-$32.00 per hour
