Experienced Water Restoration Tech

Consider joining us today We're looking for an _**experienced restoration technician**_ with proven experience working in water damaged homes, flooded basements, fire damaged properties or other emergency restoration services. (IICRC certification a plus) Duties include - Attend emergency jobs including water and sewer losses, fire damaged properties and other emergencies from time-to-time as scheduled - Assist with tear out and demolition of all damaged finishes. - Assist with documenting and cleaning contents - Other duties as assigned. You will need to demonstrate: - At least (2) years of restoration - emergency clean up experience including water extraction and water damage, residential or commercial emergency cleaning and general restoration experience. - A proven track record of reliability, honesty and hard work - Basic technical /computer skills - Proven ability to work on your own OR to with a team - Ability to work a limited rotation of afterhours and "on call" shifts - A clean driving record and valid driver's license - Physically capable of lifting heavy objects daily - more than 50lb. - A positive, 'can-do" attitude - IICRC Certification will be preferred and eventually required Competitive Wage **Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent **Benefits**: - Dental care - Extended health care - Life insurance - RRSP match - Vision care Schedule: - 8 hour shift Supplemental pay types: - Signing bonus **Experience**: - Restoration: 2 years (preferred) Licence/Certification: - and clean driver's License (required) - or any IICRC training (preferred) Work Location: In person
