The Community and Outreach Coordinator will assist Northwestern Ontario Innovation Centre (NOIC) staff in supporting early stage small and medium sized businesses in Northwestern Ontario who are looking to establish or expand their businesses through innovation.

**Responsibilities Include**:

- Connecting with entrepreneurs, developing programming and initiatives to benefits those clients in The Landing
- Work on marketing and outreach initiatives to make The Landing known in the community
- Implement processes for utilizing The Landing along with room bookings
- Assist with coordinating and facilitating workshops, events, and other training sessions
- Hands-on role supporting new and existing clients in various ways

**Qualifications**:

- Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, organizational skills, presentation skills, and the ability to multi-task
- Strong computer skills such Microsoft office suite
- Must excel working in a fast paced, open-concept team environment with many collaborators
- Ability to work flexible hours as required
- Sound judgment and ability in handling matters of a confidential, sensitive, or political nature
- Demonstrated ability to deal positively with clients and community partners

**Who is Eligible?**

**Job Types**: Full-time, Contract

**Salary**: $20.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
