**Position Overview**
Are you an organized and client-focused professional with a passion for supporting individuals in their employment journey? As the **Employment Services Administrator**, you will be the first point of contact at the WorkBC Centre, providing administrative, financial, and reception support to ensure the smooth daily operations of the office. Your role is integral in fostering a welcoming and efficient environment for WorkBC Program participants.
**Responsibilities**
Reception:
- Greet clients and visitors in a courteous, professional manner and outline available services.
- Assist clients with registrations, including obtaining BCeID and accessing the Client Portal.
- Screen clients for service eligibility and make appropriate referrals.
- Schedule in-person appointments and workshops based on client needs.
- Issue and activate Access Cards for computer use.
- Maintain a secure and professional front-end environment, ensuring safety procedures are followed.
Financial Administration:
- Process financial support requests and reconcile client financial transactions.
- Track and balance petty cash accurately.
- Process FSPS invoices (e.g., STOC, job start) in a timely manner.
- Ensure financial reconciliations are completed according to established procedures.
**Education & Experience**
- Post-secondary diploma or certificate in administration or a related field preferred.
- Minimum of **3 years** administrative experience, ideally in employment services or a high-client-activity environment.
- Multilingual proficiency (English plus French or another language) is an asset.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Experience working with individuals facing complex barriers to employment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and database systems.
- Bookkeeping or basic accounting experience is desirable.
- Ability to build strong relationships with diverse clients, team members, and community partners.
Pay: $44,600.00 per year
