Working with the Champlain Community Support Network (CCSN) and reporting to the Regional Director, the Network’s Administrator is responsible for managing and coordinating the activities of a network. The administrator plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth functioning of the network and facilitating effective collaboration among its members.

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**

**1. Sustain and optimize platforms and information management systems**:

- Ensure the smooth functioning and maintenance of network platforms and information management systems.
- Collaborate with the IT team or external vendors to address technical issues and implement improvements.
- Regularly assess the effectiveness of platforms and systems, identifying areas for enhancement or optimization.

**2. Provide administrative support to the Network**:

- Maintain accurate and up-to-date membership and contact lists.
- Schedule meetings and coordinate logistics, including venue bookings, audio-visual equipment, and catering if necessary.
- Collaborate with meeting chairs to develop meeting agendas and distribute them to participants.
- Attend network meetings as assigned and take detailed minutes, ensuring timely completion and distribution to relevant stakeholders.
- Facilitate communication and follow-up actions arising from meetings.

**3. Implement efficient internal workflows**:

- Collaborate with the staff team to identify and streamline internal processes, ensuring efficient workflow management.
- Develop and document standardized procedures and guidelines for various administrative tasks.
- Train staff members on new workflows and provide ongoing support and guidance.

**4. Serve as the point person for network platforms**:

- Act as the primary contact for accessing, organizing, and utilizing network platforms.
- Assist network members in navigating the platforms, troubleshoot issues, and provide user support as needed.
- Stay updated on platform updates and new features, providing training and guidance to network members when required.

**5. Enhance the development and distribution of professional presentations, reports, and coordination of meetings/working groups**:

- Collaborate with staff members to improve the quality and efficiency of presentations, reports, and other professional documents.
- Utilize digital technologies and tools to create visually appealing and engaging presentations.
- Coordinate meetings and working groups, ensuring seamless logistics, scheduling, and documentation.

**EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCES**
- **Education**: Completion of a post-secondary certificate, diploma, or degree in Office/Business administration or an acceptable combination of education, training and experience
- **Experience**: Experience in providing administrative support and coordinating meetings.
- **Attention to Detail**: Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- **Communication Skills**: Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and French, with the ability to effectively tailor messages to diverse audiences, present complex information in a clear and concise manner, and use various communication channels and technologies.
- **Collaboration and Teamwork**: Ability to collaborate effectively with a diverse range of stakeholders.
- **Time management**: Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently in remote locations.

**Languages**:

- Ability to communicate fluently in English, spoken and written;
- Ability to communicate fluently in French, spoken and written;
- Other languages reflective of the community we serve an asset.

**Salary/Hours**:

- Starting salary is $44,330 per annum
- Hours are Monday to Friday, 35 hours per week
