**About the Team**:
Our Client Services Team (CST) provides exceptional service to our high-net-worth clients. In this role, you are a member of a collaborative and client-focused team requiring exceptional communication and problem-solving skills in order to provide a high level of administrative service to our clients.
**Purpose of the Role**:
The focus of this role is on supporting our CST team members on fulfilling client requests, maintaining client data. This role will also have opportunities to work on projects as they arise. This is a great opportunity to gain exposure to the inner workings of a wealth management organization and be a valued member of our close-knit client services team.
This will be an 8-month co-op work term starting in May and ending in December. This will be a hybrid role based in our Vancouver office.
**Core Responsibilities**:
- Supporting the Client Services Team to provide administrative expertise and deliver a high level of personalized client service.
- Supporting the Client Services Team to complete necessary documentation to meet regulatory requirements ensuring all client accounts are compliant.
- Execute on client requests for non-financial changes.
- Liaising with custodians and insurance carriers to execute on client requests in a timely manner; proactively escalating where necessary to ensure strict adherence to SLAs.
- Maintaining client data and performing data integrity checks for quality control.
- Provide back up support to other team members as necessary.
- Actively engage in ongoing learning and development to continuously improve skills and knowledge.
**Required Skills & Qualifications**:
- Currently enrolled in the 3rd or 4th year of a post-secondary degree or diploma in Finance, Economics, or Business.
- Customer service or client relations experience.
- Proficiency in MS Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Experience with a CRM database and interest in the financial services industry considered assets.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- A self-starter with strong critical thinking skills and the ability to work independently.
- Strong organizational, time management, and adaptability skills to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
**Compensation & Benefits Package**:
Our co-op positions offer a competitive market salary of **$26 per hour**, along with additional benefits.
