**Primary Purpose**:
The Production Supervisor plays a vital role in supporting Adult & Teen Challenge recovery program clients as they train and work within the Super Thrift Store. This position leads with compassion, encouragement, and faith, ensuring clients receive hands-on workplace training, daily discipleship, and the motivation needed to succeed in both recovery and job skills.
In addition to supervising clients, the Production Supervisor is responsible for overseeing all backroom production activities, including donation intake, sorting, pricing, tracking, and seasonal storage. This role requires leading by example, working directly alongside clients to meet production quotas while fostering a safe, positive, and faith-filled environment.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Supervise and mentor recovery program clients assigned to the thrift store, providing practical training, encouragement, and accountability.
- Encourage clients with a positive attitude, instilling motivation when challenges arise.
- Lead daily devotionals and prayer times with students, modeling spiritual leadership and support.
- Facilitate and guide clients through completion of workplace training modules.
- Work hand-in-hand with clients in sorting, hanging, and pricing donations, demonstrating excellence and teamwork.
- Oversee donation intake, seasonal storage, and backroom production processes.
- Develop and maintain tracking systems to monitor donations and ensure production quotas are consistently met.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized production area in compliance with health and safety standards.
- Collaborate with the Store Manager to ensure smooth operations and continuous improvement.
**Qualifications**
- Strong leadership and mentoring skills, with a proven ability to motivate and encourage others.
- Deep commitment to the mission and values of Adult & Teen Challenge, with willingness to disciple students through prayer, encouragement, and devotionals.
- Experience in retail, thrift store operations, production, or a related field preferred.
- Organizational and problem-solving skills to manage both client care and production efficiency.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to maintain a safe and efficient work environment.
