Key Account Manager

Abysse America is a manufacturer and distributor of licensed merchandise & collectibles for the Geek industry (Manga, Anime, TV Shows, Video Games, Movies). As Abysse America continues to scale in terms of products, channels, and revenue, we’re seeking an experienced Key Account Manager dedicated to the Canadian market who will manage our fast-growing set of needs specific to retailer relationships.
**Responsibilities**:
- Develop and maintain strategic long-term trusting relationships with high value clients to accomplish organic growth and financial objectives
- Research and be ahead of key customer wants and needs.
- Ensure all Retailer requests are fulfilled in a timely and accurate manner, including but not limited to weekly shipments, promotional support, creative assets and item details
- Attend and represent the company at tradeshows and other events throughout the year
- A good understanding of the retail industry and a previous experience working with Key Account Retailers in Canada
- 2+ years of experience working within the Pop Culture industry
- An eye for monitoring consumer trends
- A go-getter attitude and the ability to work as part of a team
Additional Requirements
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Comfortable with public speaking, presenting, and negotiating
Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced and changing environment
Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize various work-streams.
Must have knowledge of software including: Microsoft Excel, Word, Power Point and Outlook
Knowledge of CRMs are not required, but a plus
Some knowledge of popular manga and anime, TV shows, movies, video games, and comics
All applicants must be able to complete pre-employment onboarding requirements (if selected) which may include any/all of the following: criminal/civil background check, drug screen, and motor vehicle records search, in compliance with any applicable laws and regulations.
Pay: $33,771.00-$120,930.00 per year
